Leighton Jones

Leighton’s love of broadcasting started from the age of 14 when he presented programmes on Morriston, Llanelli and Carmarthen hospital radio services. Then, in 1991 he joined Swansea Sound where he hosted various shows until he decided to give TV a go and became a Continuity Announcer at HTV for 7 years before returning to Swansea Sound and The Wave. With over 30 years experience, he’s thrilled to be part of the team giving truly local radio back to the city. Hear him every Saturday from 10am and 12pm each Sunday with The Weekend Rendezvous.
