Opal Bonfante

Though from Kent originally, Opal was brought up in Torquay before leaving to pursue a broadcasting career in London. She’s been a presenter on many leading shopping channels including QVC and Argos TV as well as appearing on Channel 4’s 5 O’Clock Show alongside Peter Andre and Julian Clary. She hosted the nationwide Spelling Bee competition for many years and fronted programmes on a number of top stations before moving to Swansea in 2016. These days she’s a professional voice over on BBC and commercial radio plus she brings us her Country Hour every Tuesday at 7pm.
